Find Local Enchanting Blooms At Monarch Flower Farm

Updated: Dec 10, 2021

Almost forgot what day it was…Small Business Sunday! 💐🦋💗

Today’s shoutout is going to Monarch Flower Farm, where flower farmer florists, Lauren and Cody, create art through their enchanting florals made with local blooms. 🌸🌾🌼🌷

As professional dancers with Richmond Ballet, Lauren and Cody got inspiration to start a 35 sq ft flower farm during the pandemic this year in hopes of bringing positive change to Richmond.✨ Their bouquets and floral arrangements are some of the most VIBRANT and BREATHTAKING I’ve ever seen and their Insta upholds that ➡️ @monarchflower.farm 😍 I went to the RVA BIG Market to get the medium-sized bouquet pictured here for $15, but they also do daily deliveries right to your door by ordering on their website.

Their blooms range from being 50-100% home grown and they outsource from other sustainable/local growers as needed which I love. ♻️ You can catch them at the Saturday RVA BIG Market @ Bryan Park from 9am-12pm on their upcoming market dates: Sept 25, Oct 9, and Oct 23.

In addition, you can also support their business by buying some of their cute merch or signing up for their flower subscription service where you receive either a bouquet or flower arrangement each month! 🤩 They offer 3 different sizes/prices on their website under the deliveries page and I think this service would be the perfect way to keep your home feeling happy all year long. 🥰 After talking with Lauren, I learned that their main passion is creating personalized blooms for special events such as weddings, dinners, and birthdays. 💍🎂 As artists, Lauren and Cody strive to design unique florals that capture certain moods and feelings just as they’ve perfected the craft as dancers to convey emotions. I’m not even close to getting married, but I’ve already saved so many of their posts as inspo for my future wedding planning. 😂 Monarch Flower Farm continues to wow me with how much they’ve grown in such little time, and I can’t wait to see the expressive works of art that come next! 💝
