First Impressions Of Perry’s: A Preview Of Their Delicious Menu!

Thanks to Perry’s (@perrys_steakhouse) for inviting me out to try a preview of their menu, featuring mini-sized tastings of some of their most popular items! 🤩🍽️ I’d never been to or even heard of Perry’s before, but it is DEFINITELY on my radar now! 💯 Having just opened their doors a week ago (Feb 5th), Perry’s is already a hot spot; Valentine’s reservations are fully booked, but keep Perry’s in mind for your next special occasion. 💌 Here’s a recap of everything I tried:

Course 1 - Bar Bites

🍤 Lobster Tempura // such an airy tempura batter served with savory miso butter!

🍸 Cucumber Blueberry Martini // surprisingly my favorite drink of the night…so crisp and light!

🥦 Perry’s Signature Fried Asparagus // so simple yet so yummy paired with the buttery crab meat!

🍹 Smoky Rita // order this if you like spicy margs, the habanero sugar rim is insane!

🥔 Steak & Tater Totter Bites // loved the flavorful combination of steak, potato, and garlic aioli 🤌

🍇 Bourbon Bloom // this muddled blackberry cocktail was strong but refreshing!

Course 2 - Dinner

🍣 Pan Seared Sea Bass // surprising standout of everything I tried at the preview! I know Perry’s is technically a steakhouse, but this perfectly cooked fish blew my mind! 🤯

🍖 Perry’s Famous Pork Chop Bites // good barbecue flavor to it, can’t go wrong with these and perfect for sharing too!

🥩 3-Peppercorn au Poivre (part of the Chateaubriand Three Ways entree) // the pepper flavor was strong, but I personally enjoyed it!

🍷 Perry’s Reserve Pinot Noir // I’m not a wine person by any means, but I thought it paired well with the dinner tasting!

Course 3 - Dessert

🍨 Nutty D’Angelo // this dessert was fire…LITERALLY! 🔥 the dipped white chocolate ice cream was SO good!

☕️ Salted Caramel Espresso Martini // I’m a sucker for a good espresso martini and this one did not disappoint!

Overall, my top picks were the Fried Asparagus, Cucumber Blueberry Martini, Sea Bass, Nutty D’Angelo, and Espresso Martini. Everything surpassed my expectations, and I know I’m taking my parents here IMMEDIATELY for our next family dinner! 😂 Don’t miss out on Perry’s in Short Pump, and remember to make a reservation on their website!
