With the end of summer approaching, that means there’s only 1 WEEK left to check out Kings Dominion while they still have daily admission! 🎢⛱🎡😩 If you haven’t been to the NEW park section, Jungle X-Pedition, you are totally missing out. 🗺 From the rides to the food to the shows, Kings Dominion is hitting it out of the park!
First up, let’s talk about Virginia's FIRST 4D spin coaster and Kings Dominion's newest ride, Tumbili, which flips freely based on speed, momentum, and weight distribution using a series of magnetic brakes that help to manage speed and encourage spins at various spots along the course. This means every time you ride will be different and unpredictable…how cool! 😵💫
Next is the food in the Jungle X-Pedition area. For lunch I stopped at the Jungle Market Eatery which serves a variety of burgers and salads. Pictured is the Chorizo Queso Burger which was genuinely one of the BEST park meals I’ve ever had! 🍔
Later in the day when I became hungry for a snack, I checked out Kings Dominion's new french fry stand, Excavators’ Taters, and tried both the Loaded Pork Taters and Poutine. I highly recommend the former if you are looking for a nice kick of spice and array of flavors. 🥵
For dinner, I went to The Outpost Cafe and ordered the fire-seared Prime Rib with a side of Roasted Vegetables which was surprisingly tasty. 😋🥩🥕
Before leaving for the day, I indulged in some Apple Cinnamon Donuts from Apple Ida’s Funnel Cakes for dessert which did not leave me disappointed! 🍎🍩
Lastly, are the shows at Kings Dominion, and their newest show, Let's Get Wild!, was FANTASTIC and featured giant puppets and an adorable storyline about celebration of nature and animals. 🐒🐊🐆🐍
Although their show dates for the summer have ended (😢), Kings Dominion has plenty of other show options throughout the park such as live music which are sure to keep you entertained until Haunt time comes…let the countdown begin!!! 🎃🍁 In addition, there's just 3 days left to go to Soak City this season from Saturday-Monday, so if you didn't get to go over the past few months, now's your chance! ⛱🩱🩴Summer is not complete without AT LEAST one visit to Kings Dominion, and with all the new going on at Jungle X-Pedition, this makes it the perfect time to go! 🔥
