Meet Downtown Richmond's Newest Upscale Casual Restaurant

Bringing it back to a few weeks ago at Fall Line Kitchen & Bar (@falllineva) and OMG has this meal been on my mind ever since! šŸ˜ For a hotel restaurant, I admit I was initially suspicious how the quality would be, but OH BOY were all my expectations surpassed! šŸ¤Æ Started off with the pimento cheese fritters which were cooked to the perfect temperature both inside and out. Then tried the WAGYU STEAK FRITES which were so tender and I swear the fries tasted identical to McDonalds šŸ¤¤

I also tried the two drink specials ā€œThe Romeoā€ and ā€œThe Julietā€ to support @richmondballet which were splendid. šŸ©°šŸ’”šŸø

OH, and youā€™re going to want to save room for dessert! The gooey butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream from @gelati_celesti was perfection. LITERAL. PERFECTION. šŸ¤Œ I took one bite and my jaw literally dropped because I couldnā€™t comprehend how a dessert could be so perfect šŸ˜ Tasted just like edible cookie dough that was soft in the middle but with a nice outer CRUNCH from the cast iron skillet. šŸ˜© Also pictured is the New England Clam Chowder with bacon, celery, potato, and thyme. šŸ² Every single thing I tried on the menu was EXCELLENT and was the perfect mix of coastal and comfort. šŸ’Æ

Next time you attend a show at @dominionenergycenter, make sure to check out @falllineva for your pre-show dinner and then the newly reopened @tobaccococlub for a night cap. šŸ„ƒ

Canā€™t recommend Fall Line enough for your next date night or weekend night out! šŸ‘
