Spotty Dog Ice Cream: A Year Of Sweet Success In RVA

Spotty Dog Ice Cream Co. (@spottydogrva) just turned 1 a couple weeks ago so I thought this would be the PERFECT time to give them a shout out! 🍨🐶🎉1️⃣ I’ve been here a few times over the last year and they’ve definitely become my new ice cream go-to whenever I’m in the Church Hill/Union Hill area. 🤩 They started out as a pop up and now have their own brick and mortar, so I’d say they’ve come a long way since the beginning! 👏

Pictured here is the 🍫S’mores Redux, 🍊Cream Dreams, 🍪Cookies n’ Cream, and 🍺Root Beer Float. I’ve also tried their 🍦madacascar vanilla and 🥧key lime pie flavors (not pictured). To date, I think my FAVORITE flavors have been the cream dreams (like an orange creamsicle) and key lime pie which were unfortunately both seasonal for the summer but hopefully will come back eventually! 🤞

You can find pictures and descriptions of each of these in their weekly flavors highlight. 👉 Spotty Dog is known for their New England style ice cream which means it is richer, creamier, denser, and chewier than other ice creams…so good!
