Can’t go to St. Pete Beach without getting my crab fixing! 🦀 Tried out The Oyster Shucker and ordered the 1 lb snow crab legs for my meal and started with the crab mac & cheese and crab & artichoke dip for appetizers...so you could say I’m pretty OBSESSED with crab lol. 🤣 Everything was super tasty and was even better with the Gulf view. 🚤🌊
My family all agreed that the creamy mashed potatoes were probably the BEST we’ve had at a restaurant (still not better than my dad’s homemade ones though 😅) and the crab mac was also one of the best I’ve had. My dad was pleasantly surprised at how good the filet mignon was for a seafood place and would definitely order again! 🥩 My mom got the oysters which she LOVED but was sad she missed the happy hour deal by 10 minutes which is for a much lower price. Don’t make the same mistake!
The only downside of our experience at The Oyster Shucker was that the service was slower than typical due to the restaurant labor shortage which is unfortunate. I felt so bad for our table server who was working as both a bartender and a server simultaneously and was clearly in distress from the situation and repeatedly apologized to us for all the delays. The worker shortage currently has no end in sight, so just a friendly reminder to be open minded and respectful of the staff (and the tip you leave) the next time you eat out. 💚
