Have you made your reservations for the holiday season yet?šŸŽ„šŸŽ From casual eateries to upscale dining, local husband-and-wife duo, Mike and Kim Lindsey have conquered it allā€¦LITERALLY! Recently opened in October is their 7th restaurant location, and with how I rave about all their other spots, ML Steak (@mlsteak.rva) moved to the top of my list. ā¬†ļø If you thought ML stands for Mike Lindsey, you are wrong, as it actually stands for his motherā€™s initials, Mildred Lindsey! The atmosphere was perfect for my birthday dinner: fine dining with a hint of casual flair. The ambience was so warm/comforting and I actually loved that they had fireplaces going on the TVs rather than football games, as it was a Saturday when I went. šŸ”„ The ā€œCHEERS TO LIFEā€ neon sign was also fabulous of course! šŸ’ā€ā™€ļø

For food, I tried the Filet Medallion Flight (YES, like a cocktail flight but with FOOD) which featured 3 mini filets: ML style (herb butter, house steak sauce, mash potatoes), oscar style (lump crab, asparagus, lobster veloute), and black & blue style (pepper crust, blue cheese). šŸ„©šŸ˜‹ Also ordered were the Smoked Prime Rib and 7oz Filet. I loved my flight and think it is perfect for anyone who wants to try a little bit of each flavor without committing to one. The prime rib was a nice thick cut and was so unique with the Alabama white bbq sauce instead of au jus. Iā€™ve never had something like that before so I recommend it if you like a smoky prime rib! šŸ‘

Going in with high expectations, I definitely came out satisfied with my meal and overall experience at ML Steak. šŸ’Æ If you are a meat-lover/carnivore like me, I highly recommend ML Steak as your next special occasion dinner or date night out! FYI, they still have reservations available for āœØChristmas Eve AND New Yearā€™s EveāœØ and you can make reservations for lunch or dinner on their website (link in story)ā€¦I already know I want to go back to try their new brunch ASAP! šŸ¤©
